Literacy & Numeracy deck now cites Lumina Foundation on the Embed slide

The Improving Literacy & Numeracy strategy deck (ln-v1) gains its first sourced, clickable citation: a verbatim Lumina Foundation pull-quote on slide 07, where the deck argues for embedding foundational skills into the work. Lumina is a major Reach funder, and the quote — 'integrating foundational literacy, numeracy and digital skills directly into workforce training rather than treating them as separate requirements' — has the funder's own voice seconding the deck's core strategy.

Why Care?

Lumina Foundation is one of the largest funders in adult-education and workforce credentialing. When a deck arguing for embedding literacy and numeracy into the Apprenticeship Degree can put Lumina's own framing on the exact slide that makes that argument, the claim stops reading as Reach's preference and starts reading as alignment with where major funding already points.

What changed

Slide 07 of the Improving Literacy & Numeracy deck (/scroll/literacy-numeracy/ln-v1, the Embed slide) now carries a sourced pull-quote from Lumina's June 2026 piece "A fragile foundation: The skills gaps holding adults back" (Georgia Reagan):

"…integrating foundational literacy, numeracy and digital skills directly into workforce training rather than treating them as separate requirements."

The quote is rendered as an accent-bar deck-card <figure> with a clickable, attributed source link — the deck's first clickable-citation pattern. Prior sources in this deck are inline plain-text tags (· AIR, · PIAAC 2023); this introduces a reusable, token-driven (--color-accent) form that tracks light/dark/vibrant with no per-mode classes. Unlike the deck's draft figures, it carries no VERIFY flag — it's a real, fetched quote with a live link.
