How this got built.
Everything else here is mirrored from somewhere else. These 8 entries were written in this repo.
- Eight projects had been shipping into a room with no doorAn allowlist fails silently. Eight projects had been shipping changelog entries into a feed that never knew they existed.
- Every project gets a face, and none of them is the Astro logoSeven rows of the ledger wore the Astro scaffold's logo as if it were a brand, one mark was invalid XML that no browser would draw, and a white plate sat behind all of them on a page with only a dark mode.
- The changelog gets a faceEvery link to this site unfurled as a grey box. It now ships five share cards and gives each platform its own URL to get the right one.
- The build that only worked on my machineVercel moved to Node 24 and the deploy broke — not on Node, but on three fonts this repo never declared and was borrowing from its parent.
- Most of what we write isn't codeThe ledger counted every line as code. Two thirds of them aren't — and the chart now says so, day by day, project by project.
- Four hundred entries, and a way to find yoursEvery project's own favicon, pulled from its own repo, now filters the feed by pseudomonorepo and points at the right changelog.
- The ledger learns what the changelog never saidCommit volume and the model timeline now sit under the entry marks, so the strip shows what was built and what it was built with — not just what got written down.
- One ledger for everything we shipThirty-eight changelogs scattered across thirty-one repositories now read as a single record — and the brand gradient stopped being decoration and started telling you when.
